We use HD24 gel acid for many applications. Our first use was on a vertical application at a high school. They wanted a weathered look on 160 columns. We tried liquid acids and it dripped everywhere had heavy fumes and was inconsistent. We tried sandblasting which was too much of a mess and too difficult on a vertical surface. We're sold on the gels and keep them on hand for every project

I love the gel acid. It can clean, profile and works wonders with stain and graphics. On more than one occasion, it has come to the rescue: Client wants a last minute graphic - No Problem; Someone spills stain or bleed through – No Problem; Need to get a profile on the surface – No Problem. I can’t tell you how much quicker and easier it is to use the gelled acid to profile the surface rather than pulling out all the grinding equipment. And for cleaning rust and mildew from concrete, it works wonders.
